Nancy Brain

Ms Brain, the first executive director of our foundation, also serves as president of the board of the Frances Hollis Brain Foundation. She is a board member of the National Center for Family Philanthropy and of  the Maine Philanthropy Center, of which she was a founding member. Her volunteer commitments have included the St. Luke’s Episcopal Cathedral, Crossroads for Women, the Catherine Morrell Day Nursery, the Portland Public Library, Waynflete School, and the Nine Wickets Foundation. Ms Brain and her husband John Watson live in Portland.
